Meow, I'm Diablo!

I'm a chill 5 yr old neutered male who was rescued from the streets. I was really battered and beat up when I was found by a nice human who brought me to Kaleidoscope. I was full of battle wounds and I felt so tired and defeated. To be honest, I felt relieved to be off the street and in a warm place. I may be a husky guy but that didn't protect me much from the freezing cold outside. To make things worse, my ears were really itchy and painful too. Everything hurt! All I knew was how to defend myself, so it took me a little while to trust the humans here. But, they kept giving me yummy food and comfy blankies and helped me understand I was safe and loved. Now, my skin and wounds are all better and my ears don't itch anymore, what a relief! I'm learning all about toys now and it's so much fun! I love to eat and take naps too. I really like attention but I enjoy relaxing on my own too since I don't have to fight anymore. I actually enjoy being around other cats now. I don't know what dogs are but kids would probably be fun if they don't make me feel scared.
