Meow, I'm Elfie!

I'm a gentle 8 yr old spayed female who was surrendered with my sister, Tinsel, by our owner. He was moving but we aren't sure why we didn't get to go too. When I arrived at Kaleidoscope, I was terrified, confused and in a lot of pain. I was overweight and had a difficult time moving around at all. My fur even hurt since I was full of mats and had very itchy skin. I heard the humans say that I must've been locked up in a small cage all the time since my pain was due to joint and spinal issues often seen with immobile kitties. And well, I don't even like to think about my miserable past life so I'll never tell my whole story. With the encouragement of the kind humans here, I underwent lots of therapy, both socially and physically. And now, my skin and coat are restored, I've lost weight and I'm becoming quite social. I even got a job as an office assistant so I get to walk around and socialize all day long! I feel and look like a brand new gal and I'm ready to find the home I deserve. I love humans and I'm very laid back. I get along with most other kitties and I know how to mind my business if needed. I'm not sure that I've ever met a dog or child but they might be ok as long as they're calm and respectful of my space if I need it. I'd really like to find a home with my sister!
